Dr. Montgomery was raised in Corpus Christi, Texas.  He was introduced to veterinary medicine at a young age through his grandfather, who was a veterinarian in Corpus Christi for 43 years. Dr. Montgomery started working at Windsor Park Animal Hospital in Corpus Christi during high school, which solidified his passion for working with animals and their humans, and he set his goal on attending veterinary school. He moved to College Station to pursue a degree in Animal Science at Texas A&M University.  He was a member of the Corps of Cadets while at Texas A&M and graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2006. Dr. Montgomery obtained his DVM at Texas A&M, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2010.

Dr. Montgomery began his career in a mixed-animal practice in Edna, Texas, from 2010-2012. He moved to Luling, Texas, in 2012 where he continued his passion for working in a mixed-animal practice in the Luling, Lockhart, Seguin and New Braunfels area.  In 2020, he opened his own practice in Seguin, Texas.

Seguin veterinarian Dr. Montgomery enjoys a variety of large and small animal medicine and surgery. He strives to always have open and honest conversations about treatment options and expectations, financial commitments, and economic decisions for large animal producers.  

Dr. Montgomery lives outside of Lockhart, Texas, with his wife and three daughters. Away from work, he enjoys spending time outdoors and working with his own horses and cows.

Dr. Alsop grew up in a farming and ranching family in the rural community of Riviera, TX. Her grandfather played a large part in her life and introduced her to veterinary medicine and ranching. He practiced mixed-animal veterinary medicine for 55 years in South Texas and would often include his grandchildren for farm calls. Dr. Alsop began working in a veterinary clinic while in high school at Hubert Veterinary Hospital and completed a work-study program there throughout her senior year.

Dr. Alsop pursued her higher education at Texas A&M University, where she had the opportunity to complete an internship at Hagyard Equine Medical Institute for a breeding season in Kentucky and was a student worker at A&M’s Large Animal Teaching Hospital. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science with a certificate in Equine Science from Texas A&M University. After completing her undergraduate studies, she obtained her DVM also from Texas A&M University.

Dr. Alsop has a passion for large, small and exotic animal medicine. She strives to establish a lasting connection with her patients and their owners as well as providing the best, affordable care possible.

Dr. Alsop lives outside of Seguin with her two dogs, Luke and Lacie. She enjoys the outdoors, running, and spending time with her family.
